1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Finny ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Finny is a personal finance tracking app that helps you record and organize your income, expenses and budgets. Many features are free. Others require a Finny Pro subscription; the current list of Pro features is shown in the App and may change over time.

3. Accounts

You can use Finny without an account. Some features, such as Cloud Backup and AI features, require signing in with Apple, which Apple makes available to users aged 13 and older (the age may vary by country or region). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your devices secure.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Finny Pro

Finny Pro is sold through the Apple App Store, and payment is charged to your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.

4.2 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If a free trial is offered, the subscription starts at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

4.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies. Please request them through Apple.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to transmit malware or harmful code

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Finny and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. The data you enter remains yours.

7. AI Features and Data Accuracy

AI features and automated logging read amounts, dates and other details from what you provide, and they can make mistakes. Please review entries created this way. Finny shows the information you record; it does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice.

8. Your Data and Backups

Cloud Backup is a convenience, and we work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will never fail. We recommend exporting your data from time to time (Settings, Export Data) and keeping your own copy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every defect will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

Finny is a tool to help you track your finances and is not a substitute for professional financial advice. We are not responsible for financial decisions you make based on information in the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

11. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the App if you breach these Terms. You can stop using the App at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
